Genelia D'Souza is an Indian actress, who has acted in Indian films in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada languages. Genelia D'Souza was born on August 5, 1987 in Mumbai. Genelia grew up in Mumbai and recognizes herself as a Mangalorean Catholic. Genelia studied at St. Teresa High School in Santacruz, Mumbai. She joined St. Andrews College, Bandra to pursue her Bachelor's Degree of Management Studies. She first hit the limelight with a Parker Pen commercial starring along side Amitabh Bachchan and further did a Fair and Lovely ad appearing along side Krishnamachari Srikkanth. The ace Tamil director, Shankar was very much impressed with her performance in both the ads and cast her in a leading role in his Tamil version of "Boys" in 2003. Other than doing films, she was also a state level athlete and a national level player. Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na actress, where she is the heroine in the role of Aditi Mahant aka "Meow".
